Atoka provides the following services for defining unconventional reservoirs:
- Coal Geological Services (core point picks, structure and isopach maps, mudlogging, etc.)
- Gas desorption from full core, sidewall plugs, or chips in the field and laboratory
- Estimation of total gas in Scf per ton from mechanical logs or mudlogs
- Cleat and fracture analysis with core photographs
- Analysis of desorbed gas for C1-C7, CO2, CO, N2, and O2
- Bulk density, maceral content, ultimate and proximate analysis, and vitrinite reflectance
- Adsorption isotherm generation
